Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and cover the treated areas with clothing or use a sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Drink plenty of water and use moisturizer as it may lead to dryness of mouth, lips, and eyes. It is advised not to have any cosmetic procedures during the treatment. You must inform your doctor if there’s no improvement even after four weeks of treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before using it.

How it works

Ensarin-MF Cream is a combination of three medicines: Fluocinolone acetonide, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth on skin. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.

Direction of use

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Tips

• Ensarin-MF Cream must be applied as a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
• Before each application, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well.
• Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.
• Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
• Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2-4 weeks of treatment.
