Tolvaptan 15mg Tablet can cause a rapid increase in sodium levels in your blood, which may lead to serious nerve damage. This condition, called osmotic demyelination syndrome (ODS), can result in symptoms such as trouble speaking or swallowing, drowsiness, confusion, mood changes, seizures, involuntary movements, and weakness in the arms and legs.
For how long do I need to take Tolvaptan 15mg Tablet?
Tolvaptan 15mg Tablet is used for correcting sodium levels in blood. The dose and duration are determined by your doctor, but it should not be taken for more than 30 days. Once the sodium levels return to normal, you can stop taking the medication after consulting with your doctor.
