Tolsama 15 Tablet is a vasopressin antagonist. It works by blocking the effect of the hormone vasopressin in the body. This increases urine production, reduces the amount of water in the blood and raises the blood sodium level.

Taking Tolsama 15 Tablet can lead to a rapid increase in sodium levels, which may cause serious nerve damage (osmotic demyelination syndrome - ODS) potentially leading to coma and even death. Possible symptoms of ODS include difficulty speaking, swallowing, feeling food or liquid getting stuck while swallowing, drowsiness, confusion, mood changes, seizures, trouble controlling body movement, and weakness in the arms and legs. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any concerning symptoms.
For how long do I need to take Tolsama 15 Tablet?
Tolsama 15 Tablet is prescribed for correcting sodium levels. The duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor, and it should not exceed 30 days after the sodium levels return to normal. It's crucial to follow your doctor's instructions.
Does Tolsama 15 Tablet affect the sugar levels in blood?
