Theoresp 600mg Tablet is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening it and making it easier to breathe. Theoresp 600mg Tablet can be taken with food in the evening. Take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Take it for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose if in any case you missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. It does not work immediately or prevent the already started breathing trouble, hence always carry your medical inhaler with you for an emergency.
Theoresp 600mg Tablet is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Theoresp 600mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Theoresp 600mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Theoresp 600mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoiding breastfeeding for 2-4 hours after Theoresp 600mg Tablet can further decrease the exposure of medicine to the baby.
Pregnancy
Theoresp 600mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
