Terfin-F Lotion is a combination of two medicines that effectively treats skin infections, minimizing symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching, and killing infection-causing microorganisms. How it works

Terfin-F Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Terbinafine and Fluticasone Propionate which treat skin infections. Terbinafine is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi on the skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.

Direction of use

This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

Tips

• Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor. Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2 weeks of treatment.
• If you think the area of skin you are treating has become more irritated and infected, you should stop using Terfin-F Lotion and consult your doctor.

Side Effects

• Some of the common side effects include skin irritation, redness or itching at the site of application. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know.
