Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER is a combination of three medicines: Chlorthalidone, Metoprolol Succinate and Telmisartan which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. It also removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. It can be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time. It makes you lose excess water through urine hence try to take it at day time or 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination at night.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- You have been prescribed Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER for the treatment of high blood pressure.
- Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
- It may cause more frequent urination. Take it at least 4 hrs before bedtime to avoid waking up to urinate.
- It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
- Do not stop taking Telma-MCT 25/6.25 Tablet ER suddenly without talking to your doctor.
