Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet is used to prevent asthma attacks in children, ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities, and treat symptoms of skin and seasonal allergies. Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms. It is used to prevent asthma attacks in children, ease breathing difficulties caused by strenuous physical activities, and treat symptoms of skin and seasonal allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes.
Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Never give Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet to stop an attack that has already started as the medicine may not work for such cases. Make sure to keep all other rescue medicines handy for your child in case of any respiratory distress.

- Taper down the dose gradually only after the advice of the doctor if your child is taking inhaled corticosteroids.
- Never increase or decrease the dose of Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet on your own as it can harm your child.
- Never combine Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet with other cold and flu medicines as that may cause some side effects.
- If you are giving Telekast 4 Chewable Tablet to your child for asthma or allergy, you need not give another dose to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems. In case of any confusion, consult your child’s doctor as soon as possible.

- Practice self-care tips: Abstain your child from coming in contact with allergens, encourage your child to wear a face mask and avoid dusty places, and give plenty of fluids to your child as that helps in thinning and loosening the mucus in the lungs.
