Taxclav 200 Tablet is a combination medicine prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections by preventing the growth and spread of microorganisms. Taxclav 200 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat bacterial infections. It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at a fixed time for better efficacy. Do not exceed the recommended dose as it may have harmful effects. Complete the course of treatment even if you feel better to avoid resistance. Taxclav 200 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Potassium Clavulanate. Cefixime is an antibiotic that prevents the formation of the bacterial protective covering essential for bacterial survival. Potassium Clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it whole without chewing, crushing, or breaking it. Taxclav 200 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol

Breastfeed
Taxclav 200 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Taxclav 200 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
