Suminat 50 Tablet is used in the treatment of migraines. It relieves the symptoms of migraine and prevents the attack from becoming worse. Suminat 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and if you have missed a dose. Take it as soon as you remember. You should continue to take this medicine for as long as the doctor advises and do not stop taking it suddenly.
Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation (swelling) of blood vessels in the head. Suminat 50 Tablet works by constricting (narrowing) the blood vessels in the head, stops transmission of pain signals to the brain, and blocks the release of chemicals that cause nausea and other migraine symptoms. This relieves the migraine attack.
What are the symptoms of Suminat 50 Tablet overdose?
Overdosing on Suminat 50 Tablet can lead to symptoms like fainting, dizziness, slow heartbeat, irregular heart rhythms, vomiting and difficulty urinating or having bowel movements.
