Sucactive O Suspension is a combination medicine used in the treatment of acidity, stomach ulcer, and heartburn. Sucactive O Suspension is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect or be affected by this medicine. Do not take it for more than the recommended duration as long-term administration may have harmful effects on the health.
Sucactive O Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Sucralfate and Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine. Sucralfate is a medication to treat ulcers. It covers the damaged ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it from acid or injury to facilitate healing. Oxetacaine / Oxethazaine is a local anesthetic whose numbing effect provides fast relief from pain caused due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

How should I take Sucactive O Suspension?
Take Sucactive O Suspension on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
Can I drink water after taking Sucactive O Suspension?
Do not drink anything immediately after taking Sucactive O Suspension, as this may reduce the medicine's effectiveness.
Does Sucactive O Suspension cause constipation?
Yes, Sucactive O Suspension contains Sucralfate, which can lead to constipation. To prevent constipation, include high-fiber foods such as vegetables, fruits and cereals in your diet. Drink plenty of water. Engage in regular exercise, like swimming or walking for short periods.
When should I stop taking Sucactive O Suspension?
Do not stop taking Sucactive O Suspension without consulting your doctor. Continue taking the medication as prescribed until your doctor advises otherwise.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Sucactive O Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
