Simspas Oral Suspension is used to treat stomach pain, bloating, abdominal cramps, and symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Simspas Oral Suspension is commonly prescribed to alleviate stomach pain, bloating, and abdominal cramps. It is effective in managing pain associated with excessive acidity, gas, infections, and gastrointestinal tract diseases. Additionally, it helps control symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome by relaxing the muscles of the gut and absorbing extra gas. It is important to consult a healthcare provider before using this medication, especially for children under 2 months of age.
Simspas Oral Suspension contains Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic agent, and Simethicone, an antifoaming medicine. Dicyclomine relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut, stopping sudden muscle contractions and relieving abdominal cramps and pain. Simethicone disintegrates gas bubbles, allowing easy passage of gas.
