Swish 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of oil around in your mouth without swallowing it. Do not gargle or swallow the oil. Move it about in your mouth and through your teeth like a mouthwash. It is best done first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Rinse your mouth with warm water after spitting out the oil.
