Selsi-TV Suspension is a medicine used to treat fungal infections of the skin. Selsi-TV Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Clotrimazole and Selenium. It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause infection and reducing their numbers. This treats your infection. Selenium is a mineral that reduces damage caused to the skin due to infection, decreases flaking or scaling of the skin and helps in formation of new skin.
Selsi-TV Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Clotrimazole and Selenium. Clotrimazole works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause infection and reducing their numbers. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Selsi-TV Suspension may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Apply as a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor
- Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor
- Wash the affected area with soap and water and dry well before each application
- Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth or nose
- Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2-4 weeks of treatment
