RX LB 100mg Tablet is a combination medicine that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It prevents the growth of the microorganisms that cause the infection. RX LB 100mg Tablet is a prescription medicine and it is advised to take it as per the doctor's advice. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose as this may have harmful effects on your body.
RX LB 100mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. RX LB 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Take it with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux.
- Take it while you are sitting or standing to prevent any throat irritation. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this medicine.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with RX LB 100mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
RX LB 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
RX LB 100mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
