Rosukem-F Plus Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Rosukem-F Plus Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and Rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood while Rosuvastatin prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
Does Rosukem-F Plus Tablet increase the risk of liver damage?
Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate are ingredients in Rosukem-F Plus Tablet. A very rare (1 in 10,000 patient) side effect of this medication is liver damage. Use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with pre-existing liver disease. If you experience symptoms suggestive of liver injury, contact your healthcare provider immediately. These symptoms can include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, dark urine, jaundice, or abnormal liver enzymes.

Yes, this medication may cause muscle pain due to potential muscle injury. However, this is not experienced by all individuals using the medication. Please consult your doctor if you experience any symptoms of muscle pain or weakness.
