Rekool-L 25 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), intestinal ulcers, and irritable bowel syndrome. Rekool-L 25 Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Rekool-L 25 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Rabeprazole.
When should I take Rekool-L 25 Tablet?
Take Rekool-L 25 Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. It is best to take one capsule daily on an empty stomach.
Are there any contraindications for using Rekool-L 25 Tablet?
Rekool-L 25 Tablet should not be used in patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine.
Can Rekool-L 25 Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some patients may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady, or lightheaded) while taking Rekool-L 25 Tablet. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is recommended to rest and resume once feeling better.
Does using Rekool-L 25 Tablet increase the risk of fractures?
Some studies in adults suggest that treatment with Rekool-L 25 Tablet may be associated with an increased risk of osteoporosis-related fractures of the hip, wrist or spine. The risk of fracture was higher in patients receiving high doses, meaning multiple daily doses and long-term therapy (a year or longer).

Rekool-L 25 Tablet may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you are sure how this medication affects you.
How should I store and dispose of Rekool-L 25 Tablet?
Store Rekool-L 25 Tablet in its original packaging, tightly sealed. Follow the instructions on the package label for storage guidance and do not consume leftover medication. Dispose of unused medicine according to local guidelines. Ensure that it is not accessible to pets, children, and other individuals.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rekool-L 25 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
- Do not consume alcohol while taking Rekool-L 25 Tablet as it can increase the risk of stomach damage.
- Long-term use may cause weak or broken bones. Take adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements. Do not take Rekool-L 25 Tablet for longer than prescribed.
- The most common side effects are nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, headache, weakness, and flu-like symptoms.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Rekool-L 25 Tablet.
