Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
- Prostodin 250mcg Injection increases the contraction of your womb which helps to control excessive bleeding after delivery.
- It is injected deep into a muscle by your doctor or nurse.
- It may cause an increase in body temperature. This will return to normal few hours after the last injection.
- It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- Inform your doctor if you have problems with your heart, lung, kidney or liver.
- No common side effects listed.
Alcohol

Breastfeed
Prostodin 250mcg Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
