Predsol 4mg Tablet is used to treat severe allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatic disorders, skin and eye disorders, and systemic lupus erythematosus by preventing the release of substances that cause inflammation. Predsol 4mg Tablet should be taken with food to prevent an upset stomach. The dose and duration depend on the condition being treated. Common side effects include skin thinning, increased risk of infection, reduction in bone density, weight gain, and mood changes. It may lower your ability to fight infections, so avoid contact with people who have infections like measles, chickenpox, or flu. Inform your doctor if you have conditions like osteoporosis, mood disorders, high blood pressure, liver disease, or diabetes. This medicine may increase blood glucose levels. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
Predsol 4mg Tablet is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Predsol 4mg Tablet is to be taken with food. Avoid Predsol 4mg Tablet with dietary sodium.
- Predsol 4mg Tablet helps treat inflammation, severe allergies, flare-ups of ongoing illnesses, and many other medical problems that require either reduction of inflammation or suppression of the immune system.
- Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
- Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
- Predsol 4mg Tablet can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Notify your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat.
- Side effects such as mood changes or stomach problems can happen when you start taking Predsol 4mg Tablet. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
- Do not stop taking Predsol 4mg Tablet suddenly without talking to your doctor first as it may worsen your symptoms.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Predsol 4mg Tablet.
Breastfeed
Predsol 4mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Predsol 4mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Please consult your doctor.
