It helps treat the conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation.
Pntofill-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

- Take Pntofill-DSR Capsule one hour before the meal
- preferably in the morning

- Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Pntofill-DSR Capsule for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention
- Long-term use of Pntofill-DSR Capsule can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor
- Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and heartburn: Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water, Avoid spicy and fatty fried food, Lose weight if you are obese, If you are a smoker consider giving up, Don't drink too much alcohol, Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion
