Pepclin 3 Softgels is a combination medicine that treats various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. Pepclin 3 Softgels is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash it immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose. Pepclin 3 Softgels may lead to a few common side effects like mild irritation and burning sensation at the application site. If these side effects do not improve with time or worsen, inform your doctor. In case of any allergic reactions (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), it is advised to call for immediate medical help.
Pepclin 3 Softgels is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Clotrimazole. Clindamycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth in the vaginal tract by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering. Together, they treat your vaginal infection effectively.
What if I don't get better after using Pepclin 3 Softgels?
If you do not improve after completing the full course of treatment with Pepclin 3 Softgels, consult your doctor immediately. Also, inform your doctor if your symptoms are worsening while taking this medication.
Can I stop taking Pepclin 3 Softgels when I feel better?
No, do not discontinue Pepclin 3 Softgels before completing the full course of treatment. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cleared.
What are the instructions for storage and disposal of Pepclin 3 Softgels?
Store Pepclin 3 Softgels in their original container or package, tightly closed. Refer to the label or packaging instructions for further details regarding storage. Do not consume any unused medication. Avoid exposing it to pets, children, and others.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash and dry your vaginal area. Lie on your back and gently insert the capsule into the vagina as high as possible with or without the use of an applicator as mentioned in the label.

- Usually at night before going to bed
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better
- Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water
- It may cause minor burning, stinging, or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away
- It can damage condoms and diaphragms and make them ineffective at preventing pregnancy. Ask your doctor about other suitable methods of preventing pregnancy
- Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not get improved within 3 days of taking the medicine
