PD Kent Syrup is a combination of two medicines:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. PD Kent Syrup is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid PD Kent Syrup with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
- You have been prescribed PD Kent Syrup for the treatment of asthma.
- It should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food.
- It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
- Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to make sure that you are taking the right dose.
- Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood potassium levels. Inform your doctor if you notice muscle twitching or weakness or an irregular heartbeat.
- Do not stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
