Ozewid Lotion is an antimicrobial medicine used for the topical treatment of superficial skin infections and acne. Use Ozewid Lotion in the dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Read the package insert thoroughly before using the medicine. Apply an appropriate amount of the medicine to the affected area once daily or as directed by your doctor. For facial acne, apply the medicine to the affected area after washing the face. Make sure to wash your hands before and after applying the medicine. Continue applying the medicine for as long as the doctor has prescribed. Ozewid Lotion is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, it may cause itching, dry skin, and irritation immediately after application. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor. Do not use Ozewid Lotion if you have a known history of allergic reaction to any of the components present in this medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should inform their doctors before taking this medicine to make sure it is safe for them. Let your doctor also know if you are taking or applying any other medicinal products for treating the same condition.
Ozewid Lotion is a quinolone antimicrobial medicine. It enters into the bacterial cells and inhibits the bacterial enzymes which are required for the multiplication of the bacterial genetic material (DNA). It is mainly active against the bacteria causing skin infections.
This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.
