Orhydrate orange powder is a WHO-based ORS formula used to restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration, gastrointestinal problems, and low blood potassium levels. Orhydrate orange powder is a unique oral electrolyte solution used to treat dehydration, gastrointestinal problems, and low blood potassium levels. It is a WHO-based ORS formula that consists of anhydrous dextrose, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium citrate. This powder is used to restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration, diarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness, while exercising in hot or humid weather. It is also used to prevent or treat low blood levels of potassium (hypokalemia).

Dissolve the contents of the packet in the amount of drinking water indicated on the packet. If drinking water is not available, or if you are not sure the water is drinkable, boil the water for at least 10 minutes and then let cool. Stir well, and give to the child to drink in a cup or spoon feed.
