Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is a medicine used for treating high blood pressure by lowering blood pressure, preventing future heart attack and stroke, and improving survival chances in patients of heart attack. Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol Succinate. It is used for treating high blood pressure, preventing future heart attack and stroke, and improving survival chances in patients of heart attack. Early treatment with this medicine also improves chances of survival in patients of heart attack.
Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol Succinate.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.
- You have been prescribed Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER for the treatment of high blood pressure.
- Lowering blood pressure reduces chance of future heart attack & strokes.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor as it can cause sudden increase in your blood pressure.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER.
Breastfeed
Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Olmezest Beta 25 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
