Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup is a medication used to treat symptoms of allergy, asthma, and skin allergies in children. Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup is commonly prescribed in children to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It may also help in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.
Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup is used to treat symptoms of allergy, asthma, and skin allergies in children. It is important to follow the dosage instructions provided by the doctor.
- Never combine Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup with other cold and flu medicines as that may have side effects.
- Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup helps prevent asthma attacks. Never use it to stop an attack that has already started as it will not help.
- If you are giving Od LM 2.5mg/4mg Syrup to your child for asthma or allergy, you need not give another dose to prevent exercise-induced breathing problems. In case of any confusion, consult your child’s doctor as soon as possible.
