Nosopen Tablet is used to treat common cold symptoms, providing relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. How it works

Nosopen Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylpropanolamine, Chlorpheniramine Maleate, and Caffeine. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a decongestant that narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic that relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol and decreases sleepiness due to Chlorpheniramine Maleate.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Nosopen Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended.
• Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold.
• Along with taking Nosopen Tablet, do the following simple tips at home to get relief: steam inhalation, gargling with warm saltwater, apply vapor rubs on chest and back if needed, take enough rest, take warm food and fluid only, ensure adequate fluid intake, and advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc.
