Nizoket Soap is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete's foot, thrush, and ringworm. Nizoket Soap belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin. It works by killing the fungus that causes infections such as athlete's foot, thrush and ringworm.

What is Nizoket Soap used for?
Nizoket Soap is an anti-fungal medicine that treats fungal infections such as Athlete’s foot, jock itch, sweat rash (infected with a yeast infection called thrush), and candida infections of the skin and nails. It rapidly relieves the itching caused by these infections.
Is Nizoket Soap a steroid cream?
No, Nizoket Soap is not a steroid cream. It belongs to the imidazole class of medicines and works by killing or preventing the growth of fungi that cause infection.
What are the side effects of Nizoket Soap?
Common side effects include burning, redness, and itching at the application site. Uncommon side effects may involve discomfort, dryness, bleeding, severe allergic reactions (such as hives), rash, skin exfoliation, sticky skin, prickling sensation, or inflammation.
Can I use a steroid cream along with Nizoket Soap?
It is recommended to apply a mild steroid ointment like hydrocortisone cream/ointment in the morning and use Nizoket Soap in the evening. Gradually stop using the steroid cream after 2-3 weeks. However, if you've used potent corticosteroid for seborrheic dermatitis, wait at least 2 weeks before applying Nizoket Soap to avoid skin sensitization.
How should Nizoket Soap be applied?
Wash the affected area thoroughly with water and dry it completely. Wash your hands carefully (until and unless your hands are also affected) after applying Nizoket Soap to prevent infection spread.
For how long do I need to use Nizoket Soap?
Use Nizoket Soap for as long as recommended by your doctor. Generally, it's used for 2-4 weeks for jock itch and sweat rash, and 2-6 weeks for Athlete’s foot. Do not stop using it even if your symptoms disappear because the infection may reappear if not properly treated.
What should I do if I forget to use Nizoket Soap?
If you forget to use Nizoket Soap, don't worry and continue using Nizoket Soap as soon as possible. However, it is always recommended to consult your doctor for any other doubts or concerns.
