It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. It prevents and reduces the chances of acid reflux, heartburn, and stomach ulcers. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.
Netrab-AP Tablet is a combination of two pain relievers (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) and a proton pump inhibitor (Rabeprazole). The pain relievers work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). However, they may cause damage to the stomach lining. The proton-pump inhibitor is added to reduce acid secretion and prevent this damage.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Netrab-AP Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
