Mucolite Tablet is used for treating various respiratory tract disorders associated with excessive mucus. Mucolite Tablet is a mucolytic medication that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It should be taken with food and at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. It is advised not to use it for more than 14 days without your doctor's consultation. The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, and stomach upset.

Is Mucolite Tablet suitable for a dry cough?
No. Mucolite Tablet is more effective in the treatment of productive coughs associated with thickened mucus and poor mucus clearance.
Does Mucolite Tablet cause drowsiness?
No, Mucolite Tablet is not known to cause drowsiness.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mucolite Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Mucolite Tablet helps in thinning and removal of the mucus (slimy and sticky substance) from the airways
- Measure the syrup with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular table spoon
- Do not use Mucolite Tablet for more than 14 days without your doctor's advice
- Inform your doctor if you have suffered or are currently suffering from any stomach, liver or kidney problem
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding
Alcohol
