Montair BL Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat allergic rhinitis, commonly known as hay fever. It relieves symptoms like sneezing, runny or blocked nose, itching, and watery eyes. It provides effective relief from allergy symptoms and improves breathing.
Montair BL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: bilastine and montelukast. Bilastine is an antiallergic medication that blocks the effects of histamine, treating allergy symptoms. Montelukast works by blocking leukotriene, a chemical messenger responsible for inflammation. Together, they reduce symptoms of allergies.

What serious side effects of Montair BL Tablet should I watch for?
You should contact a doctor immediately if you or your child notice serious side effects of it such as mood or behavior changes (e.g., aggression, depression, thoughts of self-harm), swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, and severe allergic reactions or breathing problems.
Who should not take Montair BL Tablet?
Individuals should not take Montair BL Tablet if they are allergic to bilastine, montelukast, or any ingredient present in the Montair BL Tablet, have liver or kidney problems (talk to your doctor before using), etc. Also, do not give Montair BL Tablet to children under 6 years of age with a minimum body weight of 20 kilograms.
Can I drink alcohol with Montair BL Tablet?
You should avoid consuming alcohol as it may increase drowsiness from Montair BL Tablet.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Montair BL Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.
- Montair BL Tablet helps control allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itching but does not cure the condition.
- Stop taking Montair BL Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test.
- Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
- Taking more than the prescribed amount will not improve effectiveness but may increase side effects.
