Mofiren 360mg Tablet may increase your risk of certain cancers like skin and lymphoma (cancer of the lymph system). When outdoors, avoid unnecessary or prolonged sun exposure. Wear protective clothing and apply sunscreen. If you experience a new skin sore, bump, change in mole size/color, brown or black skin lesion with uneven edges, an area that doesn't look like the rest of your skin, skin changes, sores that don't heal, unexplained fever, tiredness that doesn’t go away, weight loss, or pain or swelling in the neck, groin, or armpits, contact your doctor immediately.

Since your immune system is already weak, if you come in contact with someone with chicken pox or shingles, you may develop them too. This is why your doctor has advised caution. Therefore, follow your doctor's advice and contact your doctor immediately if you get chicken pox or shingles as special treatment may be required.
What precautions should a female follow while taking Mofiren 360mg Tablet?
Do not take Mofiren 360mg Tablet if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. There is a high risk of miscarriage (loss of the pregnancy) during the first three months of pregnancy. It may even cause birth defects (problems present at birth) in the baby. Therefore, use two acceptable forms of birth control together for four weeks before starting treatment, throughout the treatment, and for six weeks after stopping Mofiren 360mg Tablet. Your doctor will suggest which methods suit you best. Important: Use a second form of birth control along with hormonal birth control pills as Mofiren 360mg Tablet may reduce the effectiveness of these pills.
What precautions should a male follow while taking Mofiren 360mg Tablet?
It is recommended that either the man or his partner should use reliable contraception during treatment and for 90 days after the treatment. Men should not donate semen during therapy, or for 90 days following discontinuation of Mofiren 360mg Tablet.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Mofiren 360mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
Consuming alcohol with Mofiren 360mg Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Breastfeed
Mofiren 360mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy
