Mnt-L Kid Syrup is a medication used to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes in children. Mnt-L Kid Syrup is commonly prescribed in children to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It may also help in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.
Mnt-L Kid Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Can I give cough and allergy medicine together if my child has a persistent cough along with allergic symptoms?
No, it's not recommended to mix cough and allergy medicines as they often contain similar ingredients, which can lead to double dosing of active ingredients and cause serious side effects.
Is it safe to decrease the dose of Mnt-L Kid Syrup if my child starts to feel better?

Is it safe to give Mnt-L Kid Syrup to children with mood disorders?
Some studies suggest that Mnt-L Kid Syrup may be associated with mood disorders, hallucinations, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, shakiness, and trouble controlling body movements. Consult your child's doctor before administering the medication.
