Mecosun tablet is a combination of Methylcobalamin and other nutrients used to treat diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency and effective B12 deficiency. Mecosun tablet contains Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, which is used to treat diseases of vitamin B12 deficiency, such as pernicious anemia, and diseases of effective B12 deficiency. Methylcobalamin is retained in the body better than cyanocobalamin and has been shown to normalize protein transport in nerve cells in people with diabetes. It also exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in neuropathies induced by drugs and accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction. Clinically, Methylcobalamin is effective and useful for the treatment of numbness, pain, and paralysis due to peripheral neuropathies.
