Lenetriz M Syrup is a medication used to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes in children. Lenetriz M Syrup is commonly prescribed in children to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It may also help in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.
Lenetriz M Syrup contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.

No, it's not recommended to mix cough and allergy medicines as they often contain similar ingredients. This can lead to double dosing of active ingredients, potentially causing serious side effects.
Can I adjust the dose of Lenetriz M Syrup if my child starts to feel better?
No, it's essential to stick to the prescribed dosage by your child's doctor. Adjusting the dose yourself can impact their health and may lead to unwanted effects like sedation or rebound reversal of symptoms.
How should I store Lenetriz M Syrup?
Lenetriz M Syrup should be stored at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct heat and light. It's also crucial to keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children to prevent accidental intake.

Is it safe to give Lenetriz M Syrup to my child who suffers from a mood disorder?
Some studies show that Lenetriz M Syrup can cause mood disorders, hallucinations, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, shakiness, and trouble controlling body movements. Consult your child's doctor before giving this medicine.
Can I use Lenetriz M Syrup to treat acute asthma attacks in my child?
Lenetriz M Syrup should only be used to prevent asthma attacks. Do not use it to stop an attack that has already started; instead, use your child's reliever medicine for help with the current attack.
