LCF LS Syrup is a combination medication containing Ambroxol, Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol, and Guaifenesin. It's used to treat persistent coughs with mucus.
Is LCF LS Syrup safe to use?
LCF LS Syrup is generally considered safe for most patients. However, some may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, rash, urticaria, tremor, palpitations, muscle cramps, and increased heart rate. Consult your doctor if you experience persistent problems.
Are there any specific contraindications to using LCF LS Syrup?
It is not recommended for patients with a history of allergies to the active or inactive ingredients of this medication. Levosalbutamol and beta-blockers like propranolol should generally not be taken together.

Yes, LCF LS Syrup can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you experience dizziness, rest and resume only when feeling better. Do not drive or operate machinery.

Yes, LCF LS Syrup can cause diarrhea. In case of diarrhea, drink plenty of fluids. If the diarrhea persists, consult your doctor and watch for signs of dehydration like decreased urination with dark-colored and strong-smelling urine. Do not take any other medications without consulting your doctor.
What are the recommended storage conditions for LCF LS Syrup?
Store LCF LS Syrup in its original container, tightly sealed. Follow the instructions on the product label regarding storage and disposal. Do not allow pets, children, or others to access this medicine.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. LCF LS Syrup may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- LCF LS Syrup relieves cough accompanied with mucus that is associated with broncho-pulmonary disorders such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and emphysema.
- It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you.
- If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease.
- Stop taking LCF LS Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.

Alcohol
