Lasilactone 50 Tablet is a medicine used to treat congestive heart failure, nephrotic syndrome, ascites associated with liver cirrhosis, and mild and moderate degrees of essential hypertension. Lasilactone 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. It works by reducing the excess fluid levels in the body while maintaining the potassium balance. It is used to treat congestive heart failure, nephrotic syndrome, ascites associated with liver cirrhosis, and mild and moderate degrees of essential hypertension.
Lasilactone 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also reduces blood pressure and enables heart to pump efficiently. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium thereby balancing its levels in the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lasilactone 50 Tablet is to be taken with food. Avoid Lasilactone 50 Tablet with dietary sodium.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Lasilactone 50 Tablet.
Breastfeed
Lasilactone 50 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pregnancy
Lasilactone 50 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
