Lanpip 30mg Capsule is a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production. Lanpip 30mg Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid related indigestion and heartburn. It is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly.

How should Lanpip 30mg Capsule be administered through a nasogastric tube?
To administer Lanpip 30mg Capsule through an NG tube, the capsule is opened, and the granules are mixed with apple juice in a syringe. This mixture is then attached to the NG tube and given directly into the stomach. After administration, the NG tube should be flushed with additional apple juice to clear the tube.
How should Lanpip 30mg Capsule be taken in relation to food?
Lanpip 30mg Capsule is usually taken once a day, first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. If taking twice daily, one dose should be taken in the morning and the other in the evening. The tablet should be swallowed whole, not chewed or crushed, and taken at least one hour before a meal with water.
What foods should be avoided while taking Lanpip 30mg Capsule?
It is recommended to avoid foods that trigger acidity and heartburn, such as fried or spicy food, butter, oil, citrus juices (lemon water, orange juice), caffeinated drinks (cola, tea), and alcohol.
Is Lanpip 30mg Capsule suitable for children?
Yes, Lanpip 30mg Capsule is used to manage gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive gastritis in children. However, its safety and effectiveness are established only in children aged 1-17 years.
