Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye. This medicine may require long-term use and can be taken safely for as long as you need it.

Common side effects of this medication may include visual disturbances, eye discharge, redness, irritation, burning, discomfort, eyelid swelling, and itching. If any of these symptoms persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
How should I store Lacrivisc DS 1% Eye Drop?
Store the medication at a temperature of 25°C (77°F) or below, out of reach of children. Avoid touching the tip of the container to any surface or eye(s). Replace the cap after each use and do not use the drops beyond their expiration date or after 30 days of opening.
How should I use Lacrivisc DS 1% Eye Drop?
For dry eyes, instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed. When using it to lubricate soft and rigid gas-permeable lenses, apply 1-2 drops to each eye with the lenses on as directed by your doctor. After adding the drops, blink several times to spread them evenly. If unsure, consult your doctor.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
