If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects. The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Indard-DMR Tablet is a combination of a muscle relaxant (Chlorzoxazone) and two pain relieving medicines (Diclofenac and Paracetamol). The muscle relaxant works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm, thereby improving movement of muscles. The pain relieving medicines work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
What is Indard-DMR Tablet?
Indard-DMR Tablet contains Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Chlorzoxazone. This combination provides relief for muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone acts on the central nervous system as a muscle relaxant. Diclofenac and Paracetamol work by reducing prostaglandins in the body, which causes pain and inflammation.
Is Indard-DMR Tablet safe to use?
Indard-DMR Tablet is generally safe for most patients. However, potential side effects include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite, dry mouth, weakness, drowsiness and other rare or uncommon side effects. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience any persistent problems.
When should I stop taking Indard-DMR Tablet?
You should continue Indard-DMR Tablet only as prescribed by your doctor for a specific duration. In case of short-term pain relief, the medication can be discontinued.
Can I use Indard-DMR Tablet if I experience nausea or vomiting?
Yes, you can take Indard-DMR Tablet with milk, food, or antacids to help mitigate symptoms of nausea. Avoid fatty or fried foods while taking this medication. If vomiting occurs, drink plenty of water or fluids in small, frequent sips. Consult your doctor if vomiting persists and you exhibit signs of dehydration, such as dark urine, strong-smelling urine, or low urination frequency.
