Imax XT Tablet is a combination of two medicine used for treatment of iron deficiency and anemia. Imax XT Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at the same time each day to get the most benefit. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Continue taking the medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Imax XT Tablet is a combination of two nutritional supplements: Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid which replenish the body's stores of important nutrients. Folic acid is a form of vitamin B. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells which carry oxygen throughout the body. Ferrous Ascorbate acts as a catalyst in various biochemical reactions in our body facilitates transport and utilization of oxygen and helps in cell growth and proliferation.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Imax XT Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Imax XT Tablet.
Breastfeed
Imax XT Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Imax XT Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
