What happens if I take too much Huch D3 Injection?
Long-term excessive dosage of Huch D3 Injection can increase calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia), potentially leading to symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, vomiting, diarrhea, sluggishness, kidney stones, high blood pressure, and growth retardation in children. If experiencing these symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
How much Vitamin D3 should I take daily?
Huch D3 Injection contains vitamin D which is used as a supplement to treat vitamin D deficiency. The recommended daily intake of Vitamin D3 is 4,000 IU/day. However, if your diet falls short, you may require supplementation with 1,000 to 3,000 IU/day.
What happens if Vitamin D3 is low?
Low levels of vitamin D3 can cause rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Deficiency in vitamin D also increases the risk for diabetes mellitus 1, high blood pressure, depression, certain cancers, and osteoporosis.

- Get enough sun exposure 10-30 minutes thrice a week.
- Light-skinned: 20-30 minutes of sun exposure.
- Dark-skinned: 30-40 minutes of sun exposure.
- Eat vitamin D rich diet like egg yolk, mushrooms, cheese, milk, butter, fortified food and oily fish.
- Do not take antacids or any other medication 2 hours before or after taking Huch D3 Injection.
- Other prescription or over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal products may affect the Huch D3 Injection levels in the body. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines and any medicine you start or stop using.
- Inform your doctor if you notice nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, constipation, weakness and weight loss while taking this medicine.
Alcohol
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Huch D3 Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Huch D3 Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Pregnancy
Huch D3 Injection is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
