Histaglobulin Injection is a combination of three medicines: Human Normal Immunoglobulin, Histamine Dihydrochloride, and Sodium Thiosulphate. It works by producing protective antibodies (proteins) that neutralize the chemical messengers, mainly histamine, released during allergic reactions.

- You have been prescribed Histaglobulin Injection for the treatment of a wide variety of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis, eczema, urticaria, and generalized skin allergies.
- It may also be used as a preventive measure in children (where there is a family history of allergy) who are about to undergo removal of tonsils.
- It leads to the progressive decline of allergic symptoms within four weeks from the end of treatment.
- Histaglobulin Injection should not be used during an acute allergic attack.
