Histabil 40 Tablet is an antihistamine used to treat allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness. Histabil 40 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as antihistamines. It is used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness.
Blocks the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.Treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.Swallow it as a whole.Do not chew, crush, or break it.Take it with food
- Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness
- Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness
- Stop taking Histabil 40 Tablet at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results
Alcohol
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Histabil 40 Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Histabil 40 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
