What bacteria does GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution kill?
GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution effectively treats a range of bacteria. However, it is important to remember that this solution should only be used against susceptible bacteria. It can target S. Aureus and S. epidermidis, certain Streptococci species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterobacter aerogenes, Proteus mirabilis, Morganella morganii, most Proteus vulgaris strains, Haemophilus influenza, and H. aegyptius, Moraxella lacunata, Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, and some Neisseria species. Your doctor will determine if this medication is appropriate for your specific condition.
How long should I use GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution?
The duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on the severity of the infection. For mild to moderate eye infections, 1-2 drops administered four times daily are usually prescribed. For severe infections, you may require two drops every hour. Avoid using more or less than what has been prescribed by your doctor. Always follow your doctor’s exact instructions for application.
How should GB-Cin Ophthalmic Solution be used?
Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the eye drops. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface or eyes. Tilt your head slightly and instill one drop into your affected eye. Close your eyes for 2 to 3 minutes with your head tilted downwards, avoiding blinking or squinting. Gently press your finger to the inside corner of your eye to prevent leakage into your tear duct for approximately 1 minute. If you apply more than one drop, wait about 5 minutes between each drop. Wait at least 10 minutes before using any other prescribed eye drops.

If you do not experience improvement after completing the full course of treatment, inform your doctor immediately. Additionally, tell your doctor if your symptoms worsen while using this medication.
