Fungicros Cream is a medicine used to treat various types of fungal skin and nail infections. Fungicros Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. A thin layer of the medicine should be applied only to the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. If it gets into your eyes, nose, and mouth rinse with water. It may take several weeks for your symptoms to improve and you should keep using this medicine regularly. The entire course of the treatment should be completed to ensure that the infection does not come back. If your condition does not improve or gets worse, you should talk to your doctor.
Fungicros Cream contains Amorolfine and Phenoxyethanol which treat fungal skin infections. Amorolfine is an antifungal medicine which stops the growth of fungi on the skin or nails by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative.
How long does it take to clear a nail infection?
Fungicros Cream may require a few days or weeks to show improvement in the symptoms of an infection. It's important to note that clearing an infection refers only to symptom improvement and not necessarily a complete cure. A full cure for a nail infection can take up to 6 months for fingernails and 9-12 months for toenails. Curing an infection requires time because it takes for the infected nail to naturally regenerate into a new one.
Can I stop taking Fungicros Cream when my symptoms are relieved?
While you may experience relief in symptoms, do not discontinue use of Fungicros Cream until completing the full course of treatment. It's crucial to consult your doctor if no improvement or symptoms persist even after 5 days of treatment.
What are the storage and disposal instructions for Fungicros Cream?
Keep the medication in its original container, tightly sealed, and stored according to the instructions on the packaging label. Do not dispose of unused medicine by any means, as it can be harmful to pets, children, or others.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
