How it works

FP 10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine, which prevent migraine. Propranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD), which are electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. FP 10 Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

• You have been prescribed FP 10 Tablet for prevention of migraine headaches.
• Do not take it to treat an acute attack of migraine.
• Some tips that may help avoid a migraine attack: Have your meals at the same time every day, avoid bright lights and extreme temperatures, avoid loud music and noisy places, avoid chocolates, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking, get sufficient sleep and avoid stress.
