It is involved in the synthesis of keratin a natural protein that aids in hair growth. Finasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It blocks the body's production of a male hormone in the scalp that stops hair growth thereby reversing the balding process and preventing further hair loss.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Folliriz 10mg/1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
