Folitrax 7.5 Tablet is used to treat cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, severe psoriasis, and Crohn’s disease. It slows the growth of abnormal cells and modulates the immune system. Folitrax 7.5 Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of cancer in various parts of the body, as well as rheumatoid arthritis, severe psoriasis, and Crohn’s disease. It works by slowing the growth of abnormal cells and reducing immune system activity in autoimmune conditions.
Folitrax 7.5 Tablet inhibits enzymes (dihydrofolate reductase), prevents cell division, and leads to anti-inflammatory actions. It kills cancer cells by preventing them from making DNA, helps control psoriasis by retarding the production of skin cells and suppressing inflammation, and treats rheumatoid arthritis by suppressing the immune system.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Folitrax 7.5 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
- Drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated while taking this medication.
- Take folic acid if advised by your doctor. This will help lessen the side effects of this medicine.
- Folitrax 7.5 Tablet may take from weeks to months for Folitrax 7.5 Tablet to work. Keep taking the medication as prescribed.
- Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to monitor your kidney function, liver function, and the level of blood cells in your blood.
- Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may increase the risk of side effects.

Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Folitrax 7.5 Tablet.
Breastfeed
Folitrax 7.5 Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy
Folitrax 7.5 Tablet is highly unsafe during pregnancy. It can cause serious harm to the unborn baby, including birth defects and pregnancy loss. Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
