This kills the infection-causing bacteria, preventing its growth and stopping the infection. Simethicone binds with the gas bubbles produced as a result of the other two ingredients or as a result of some other problem, aiding in the removal of gases and providing relief in stomach pain and bloating.

Tips

• Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Floxalin M Oral Suspension.
• Never use this medicine for the common cold and flu.
• Discontinue Floxalin M Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.

Side Effects

• Your child may have an altered taste or furry tongue (coating of Floxalin M Oral Suspension on tongue) after taking Floxalin M Oral Suspension. Eating citrus fruit or sipping plenty of water or fruit juice may help.
• Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Floxalin M Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
• Never use this medicine for the common cold and flu as they are caused by viruses and Floxalin M Oral Suspension treats only bacterial infections.
