How it works

Fexmare A 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Montelukast, Fexofenadine and Acebrophylline. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves symptoms of allergies. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fexmare A 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• You have been prescribed Fexmare A 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR for prevention of asthma.
• Take it at the same time each day
• preferably in the evening after food.
• Do not take it with any fruit juices (such as apple, orange or grapefruit) as they might make the drug less effective.
• Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
